Angels Camp Museum
Open daily 10:00am to 3:00pm March 1 thru Dec. 31. Jan. & Feb. open Friday thru Monday. Three-acre History Museum - 3 bldgs., carriage house, barn, two story building featuring 31 carriages, several wagons, gold mining, logging, farm equipment, carpenter tools, blacksmith shop, rock & minerals. Plus many household items and collections. A working model of a mining stamp mill also a model train showing route of the Angels branch of the Sierra Railway.

Calaveras County Museum and Archives
The Museum complex includes the Courthouse, Jail Yard and Hall of Records, each with displays dating to the Gold Rush era. Our outstanding Mi Wok Indian exhibit includes artifacts, photos and quotes revealing their lifestyle. Open 10 am to 4 pm daily except major holidays.

Murphys Old Timers Museum
Open Friday through Sunday 11am to 4pm. Dedicated to the preservation of the history and artifacts of Murphys and its generations since the Gold Rush. North wall is the E. Clampus Vitus Wall of Comparative Ovations.

Heritage Museum
Native American artifacts, mining artifacts, gold nuggets, see the larger than life size mural of California's early miners. Visit the vault, which displays a 44 pound gold specimen, the largest gold crystalline in the world. Open daily 11am - 5:30pm.

Sierra Nevada Logging Museum
Located one mile from Arnold on Dunbar Road, across the street from Hazel Fischer Elementary School on the shores of White Pines Lake. This is a six-acre museum site with artifacts, kiosk and picnic tables, BBQ's and a historic Shay locomotive. The whole family is sure to enjoy this wonderful and educational museum experience.
